What this is

2290.agency exists to do one thing: get a Form 2290 from your keyboard to the IRS and the stamped Schedule 1 back to you, without a phone call. It is software you drive yourself.

BKS Accounting Services is an IRS Authorized e-file Provider. Returns are transmitted through the IRS Modernized e-File system rather than handed to a third party to file on our behalf.

Who it suits

Owner-operators filing one truck, and fleets filing a hundred. If you know your VINs and your weights, you do not need anybody’s help to file, and this is built on that assumption.

Prefer more around it

A first filing, a complicated period with mid-year additions and credits, or a fleet large enough that a mistake is expensive: some people want guides and a support inbox alongside the same filing, not just the filing itself. BKS Accounting Services also runs BKS2290.com: the same automated wizard, plus resource guides, fleet tools and a support inbox. Same practice, same IRS authorisation, more built around it. You still enter your own vehicles and sign with your own PIN either way. Nobody files it for you on either site.

What we will not claim

We do not promise the IRS will accept your return, or how fast. Both are the IRS’s to decide. What we control is that the return is correct before it is sent, that it is transmitted promptly, and that you are told plainly what happened.
